Channel Bass Fish Painting by Sherry Miller

I started a series of large fish paintings in 2013. This Channel Bass is still my favorite one. They are all on loose canvas (rather than stretched canvas) and I like tossing them around like blanket throws or hanging them up with push pins and moving them from wall to wall.

Tropical Fish Painting (Bodianus Rufus)

Most of the fish I paint are salt water fish whose colors are so much more mild than tropical fish. But this fellow got in my repetoire before I was thinking about tropical fish. He'll have some pals up here soon enough.
